RM Partners, NWL and SWL Cancer Alliance are running a new Lung Cancer screening
campaign #Stillhere to encourage people to take part when they are invited.
Lung cancer screening is offered to those eligible aged 55-74 and who have ever smoked.
Lung cancer is the third most common cancer in the UK and it is the UK’s biggest cause of cancer death. There are around 28,000 lung cancer deaths a year in the UK.
Lung cancer screening can save lives. There are often no signs or symptoms of lung cancer at an early stage, so finding it early through screening, when it’s easier to treat, can improve outcomes.
Currently 75% of cancers found through the lung cancer screening programme have been stage 1 or 2.
Our campaign includes social media advertising on Facebook and Instagram, outdoor advertising and radio ads on stations such as Heart, LBC, Classic FM, Gold Radio, Lyca and Lyca Gold over the 4 week period. Additionally, our local community partners will be running in person events and online activity and promotion of the campaign materials.
The social media assets are available on the RM Partners website, at the link below:

The campaign is also being promoted on the patient website: Home – NW & SW London Lung Cancer Screening
Please do share these resources on your digital screens, websites, social media and with colleagues.
